I’ve been a member of Janet Murray’s Build Your Online Audience Programme for a few months now and right from the start I noticed that the community had an edge of professionalism that I hadn’t seen in other community groups. Samantha is able to keep the flow of information consistently running so that Janet can continue providing her members with the highest value content, without having to worry about finding links for people, digging out information that people have lost and generally doing admin tasks that would prevent her from doing what she does best. Since being in a group where Samantha is the community manager, I find myself wishing all the groups I am in could be run like this. It works so well and provides a professional dynamic to the group that couldn’t be achieved without a community manager focused on keeping the group running smoothly and efficiently.
I booked a Power Hour with Sam as I wanted to understand the best way to run the Facebook Group for my new membership community.
Before the call, I was worried that the people in my paid membership weren’t getting the attention they needed and I didn’t know how to deliver different content in my free and paid for groups.
Sam explained the best practice for both groups and we talked about some ideas I had and she suggested ways to implement them.
After the call I put in place some of the ideas we’d discussed. One post led to three new people signing up for my membership in a week, and I now feel much more confident that I am serving my members to the best of my ability and that things are running smoothly.
Sam is friendly, easy to get along with and has so many great ideas and if you have any worries about your Facebook group, a Power Hour with her is an absolute must!
It was wonderful to be part of Sam’s Membership Membership group – even if just for a short time due to timings – my end.
I always felt that I was in a group led by a safe pair of hands, and Sam has a ton of expertise in this area to make it all so worthwhile.
In the short time that I was part of MM, I learnt that ‘what not to do’ was what I had planned to do! All of this has helped me launch my copywriting programme with so much more confidence, as a direct result of MM.

I never realised just what an amazing asset they are for groups…it’s like creating a mini membership with everything organised and accessible immediately, without having to scrabble around, and that simplicity is what people want and need right now from their group leaders ! We first hired Sam to be our Matchmaker for our event, ATOMICON, with her role being to connect our attendees together. She did such a great job, we now work with her every month in our membership ATOMIC, where she’s head of networking and matchmaking. She does an amazing job, connecting members, welcoming members and managing parts of our community. If you have a community, then talk to Sam.
I hired Sam to help with community support in my pop-up group, as I was doing a challenge with lots of people involved.
It really took the pressure off me to know that I didn’t need to answer everything myself. Sam also pointed out things that were important for me to answer, which was great.
If you know you’re having a busy challenge and launch, I would now say getting community support is vital!

I’ve just started a new Facebook group called “Communicate with Purpose” which already has lots of small business owners joining who need some help and support with their communications and marketing. I’ve never had a Facebook group before, so I needed some help getting organised, understanding the basics of managing a group, working out how to use the Units and even just being reminded that it’s MY group, so I can create the rules and decide what happens in there 😆🤪.
I spent a full hour with Sam who talked me through everything and more, giving me practical advice and even sharing screens and walking me through the fiddly bits. .

I highly recommend Sam, if you need help with either setting up a community the right way or if you have one but are struggling to manage it all, Sam puts things into perspective and just makes things so so simple
